This Crab Bite recipe is from Eve Watson, friend of the owner of The Stockade Bed and Breakfast, who loves to cook. This is a perfect hors d’oeuvre for the holidays!
3 sticks of butter
3 jars Kraft Old English Cheese Spread (no substitutions!!!!)
1 lb. lump crabmeat
3 tsp. garlic powder
Red pepper to taste
3 packages of Bay’s Old English Muffins
Melt butter and cheese spread. Add crabmeat, garlic powder, and red pepper. Mix well. It will be runny, but that’s okay. Spread on English muffins and put in freezer until firm enough to cut into quarters.
When ready to serve, heat frozen crab bites for 12 minutes at 400º.
